Often as we get to know a community ideas come forth on ways that we can benefit them through various art and social projects. Sometimes this takes the form of a mural designed by the children of a shelter, to show them that their ideas have power, and that through drawing they can shape the environment around them. Sometimes it is the creation of a community garden at a high school to teach the teens how to grow good food sustainably and the importance of environmentalism and the green movement. It is whatever we can dream up and are willing to work together to make into reality. ArtPlay works to create and support communal visions, collect recourses and organize volunteers to see our ideas into fruition.
